Local officials were surveying the damage caused by summer storms on Friday evening that damaged several houses in the Thern district of the northern Thai province, reports Thairath. The owner of the cows Pairoj Tawong said that he was herding five cows back to their pen when lightning struck killing his stock. One animal managed to survive. The officials have reported the damaged houses and loss of animal life as ways to help compensate the people who have suffered are processed.
