won't popup login screen once started

I'm using win 8 on lenovo laptop.

As the subject, login screen won't popup and can't login.

I pressed ctrl alt del, but nothing happens.

Also mouse pointers won't show up either.

Just the interface screen with date time shows..

Is it effected by virus?

How to do??

I'm a bit rusty on Win8, but are you seeing the "lock screen" when you boot up? If so, I think either swiping up with the mouse cursor or pressing the <Esc> key will clear it out of the way.
