When the road is slippery .......and there are beautiful and huge road marks with a " 60 k/h max when road is  slippery ", but it's not for them ..:1zgarz5:

Especially P/U trucks. The total lack of any weight on the rear axel makes them extra safe on wet roads.

Still, on a farming subject, a load of sugar cane park up waiting to tip, at our local mill, about 15 ton of cane, 5 ton of trailer , pulled by a 25-year-old tractor.

And no brakes on the trailor as usual :cheesy: ;

so you can understand why " brakes failed " :post-4641-1156693976:

Actually most  trailers do have brakes, they are hydraulic, linked to the original trailer brakes, worked by the tractor hydraulics via a spool valve, the  hydraulic lever on the tractor is lifted, by hand so applying the trailer brakes, as luck would have it we have no big hill in this area ,so no runaway tractor and trailers .

Have seen a few tip over, with this high load on the center of gravity is raised, and on a bad slop .over she goes.
