With nine men on the field, the players were out on their feet,at the death, and looked absolutely knackered. That was typified by Matic's insipid attempt at a tackle as Villa bore down on our goal to grab the winner. Oscar looks lethargic compared to earlier in the season and does not warrant a start in the team. Luiz must be busting a gut to get on the pitch. I'm sure he would show more energy and enthusiasm in midfield than Oscar. I agree that there was too much pissing around when we got to their penalty box but that was because Hazard,Oscar and Willian stood still too often and didn't keep the move flowing. Torres,as usual, was irritating in parts.

Villa obviously took a lot of confidence from their home win against Norwich and put in a performance that doesn't befit their league position. Now they're in the groove,I can see them causing problems for any team until the end of the season.

Playing with nine men isn't easy granted, but it was only for the last two minutes of additional time, so you can hardly use it as an excuse for the goal. Indeed, you had 10 men for just over 20 mins...as opposed to City who had to manage without their best defender for more than 80!

No one discussing the Ramirez tackle then? If that was Suarez we'd be 5 pages deep by now.

He's a nasty bugger is Ramirez, and often more so in international play.

Why? The punishment fit the crime.

He hasn't been punished yet.

First rain of the rainy season up here in the sticks.

It's lashing down.

Spurs-Arsenal, Man U-Lpool.

Mourhino will be doing what he does.

Successfully and consistently since 2004.

Sad to see the dyslexia has kicked in again. Even spellchecker is underlining itbiggrin.png. It is MourINHO! The least you can do is spell your own avatar correctlyfacepalm.gif

Off to see the big boys play. Table booked (allegedly) by the midget in KK, so may see a few of the Man U lads in there as well.

Oh I didn't realise Red Cards were merely ceremonial.

How can a red card in injury time be worthy punishment of such battery with intent to maim. He should get 6 weeks for that and warning from the rozzers

Yes. Sorry about that. I keep mixing him up with a Japanese lorry. Hino's are part of Toyota btw.

How do you spell the name of the Man U manager who succeeded from SAF?

( The one after David Moyes I mean)

Ah, I'm bright and bushy tailed this morning ! A Chelsea loss always invigorates me, and a Mourinho meltdown adds luster to my sense of schadenfreude.clap2.gif

More of a sense of the horse race now that we were all expecting. The last furlong ought to bring lots of snorting.

You should try Lynx Jelly Boy.......then you might feel invigorated every morning.........instead of just 5 or 6 times a Year.......as for the Bushy Tail? See a Doctor?

I don't know Lynx from a rutabaga Keith. When I'm no longer bushy tailed I'll move back to the states, go on Medicare, and start voting for evangelical Christians.

Very effective player Schaden Freude.

A bit like Chopper Harris or Norman Whiteside minus the positive aspects.thumbsup.gif

Difficult to add lustre (English spelling) to a tarnished object though.

The possibility exists that Brendan Rodgers is actually a better manager than Manuel Pellegrini.

If I was United I might just give him a call.

Not sure about better but best in the premier league this season.

Hoping a few teams slow City up, it is now theirs to lose.

Haha Rodgers wouldn't touch her United with a plastic one
