Toshiba Parts

Featured Replies

First of all, I'm in Ayutthaya. I need a replacement screen for a Toshiba Satellite P745. The Toshiba Thai website is a waste of bandwidth. Can anybody give me a clue?

There is always Zeer Rangsit if you don't want to make a trip all the way in to Bangkok. A number of repair shops there that may be able to assist.

Otherwise search for a replacement screen on ebay. There are often YouTube videos online that show you how to do all sorts of repairs

Thanks for that! I didn't know of Zeer, but based on their Facebook page, it looks promising. My step-son's girlfriend works in Ransit, so next time he wants to visit her, I'll drive him. As for the replacement itself: trivial!

If you haven't been to Zeer before it's a big place, so allow plenty of time to look around. There is a small cluster of repair shops on the right hand side, towards the rear of the building on the ground floor level, so try that as a starting point. It's before you get to NPE, a large electronics parts store on the left (see photo). Zeer is always undergoing renovation so some of the repair shops may have moved to another section.

I'm looking forward to visiting Zeer. There aren't very many computer-centric shops in Ayutthaya. At least none I've found. That's opposed to the bazillion cell phone shops I keep tripping over. How do they stay in business?

Anyway, thanks again for the tip.
