chiangrai Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 A short question. Is there anybody doing colonic irrigation therapy in Chiang Rai. I have googled it but haven't found anything.
Randell Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I'm quite sure the hospital on the Mae Fa Luang University campus offers that a lot of alternative treatments there acupunture. Chiropractic, holistic cancer therapy etc. Randell

Saastrajaa Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 ^ What he said. The human body is a self-cleansing organism. "Colonic irrigation therapy" (just like "juice cleanses") is a bullshit scam with no scientific basis whatsoever.
cheeryble Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Check out episode #259 of This American Life podcast. The story starting about 24 minutes in. It is a charming piece anyway but happens to be partly about the subject in question and interviews a medical expert who answers diplomatically but it is very very clear what she thinks and she gives reasons. i didn't need any convincing that this was hogwash but This American Life is always wonderful anyway, so try some other podcasts in the archive and enjoy..... ps Have you ever noticed there's always something for sale with wonder cures?
