Red Bull Heir Fails to Appear, Again. Given Another Chance, Again.

BANGKOK — A deadline passed at 4pm today for Red Bull heir Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya to meet with prosecutors four years after he killed a Thonglor cop, but the 31-year-old fugitive will be given yet another chance before a warrant is sought for his arrest.

SRT to ask PM to shut down high-risk railway crossings

BANGKOK: -- The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) will propose Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha to shut down railway crossings which are highly unsafe and may lead to fatal accidents involving trains and cars, said SRT governor Wutthichart Kalayanamit on Wednesday.

BANGKOK: -- Red Bull energy heir Vorayuth Yoovidhya will be given another chance to turn himself in to meet with public prosecutors to acknowledge charges against him in connection with the death of a traffic policeman in a road accident three years ago.

Residents told to return ya baa pills they received free or face arrests

AYUTTHAYA: -- Local officials and community leaders in Phra Nakhon Sri Ayudhya district of Ayutthaya province were told by the police to look for some 300,000 methamphitamine pills said to be distributed free to local residents by a man who claimed to have stumbled on about 700,000 pills and 10 kgs of Ice in roadside bushes.

Administrative Court rejects retrial of 9.6 billion baht Klong Dan case

BANGKOK: -- The Central Administrative Court on Wednesday rejected a petition from a former natural resources and environment minister and six other people for a retrial of a court case in which the state was ordered to pay 9.6 billion baht in compensation to NVPSKG consortium for the cancellation of the Klong Dan waste water treatment plant in Samut Prakan.

Education Ministry to help schoolgirls who survive dormitory fire in Chiang Rai

Labour Ministry to help out 4,000 employees of BMTA who are to be made redundant
