Sorry gents it seems fine now..............don,t know why/how as yesterday I couldn,t do.

Are you sure that you took your meds?

But to answer your question, it was edged. All you need to do is to unedge it and it works again.

Why not switch to Chrome? Edge has no extension capability as yet.

Many problems

Three weeks ago my pc running FF in win 10 was fine, went on holiday for two weeks and upon return I could not load some pages on FF so did a refresh but no improvement, have tried opera browser as alternative but similar issues there.............did a win 10 system reset and Edge is the only browser that,s nearly OK,sometimes when I hit the add post on here it works fine other times it ads the reply but no text is showing............very strange.

I have raised this on the Microsoft website and hopefully they may help.

I know you'll probably hate me for saying this, but you still have Internet Explorer 11 installed with your operating system. There just isn't a shortcut for it.

You'll find it in Program Files/Internet Explorer. There are still some https sites that require IE, but not so many now.

Mentioned this just in case you thought that MS had swapped Edge for Internet Explorer.

They didn't, you still have IE11 installed with W10 as well as Edge.

MS have admited that Edge is still in development as far as add-ins go, IMO it should have been released as Beta to let users know.

IE11 gives you another browser to play with if that is your want..........................wink.png

Had a reply from Microsoft funnily enough suggesting I change to IE 11 and all now seems fine regarding this browser (at least I can post replies etc albeit its slow) now I have downloaded both Chrome and Opera browsers but they will not load my MSN homepage as my Internet connection is through my apartments server and it shows as a "not trusted connection" (IE 11 no issues BTW) is there anyway round this please? what is most surprising is my notebook which is running identical programmes to my laptop has not been affected,on here I use FF same as this laptop before the bugs started whistling.gif

So if I want to use Opera/Chrome how do I overcome the "not a trusted connection" glitch.

Thanks to all who have/ may helped me with this problem thumbsup.gif
