'Airport axman' fined B1,000, driver's license seized

PHUKET: -- Authorities have seized the driver's license of a man who confessed to flashing his axe at another motorist yesterday morning at the airport, as revealed on Facebook by dash cam footage.

Nattawut Chitjui, 44, of Phang Nga was summoned to Sakoo Police Station this morning after a run of his license plates led police to him in Krabi's Muang district.

I hope the Thai police keep a record of this guy.

And before the ink has dried on this article, and while the cops are smug and contented whit their action,

this driver got himself another driver's license of the fake variety for few hundred baht....

Take that and let it be a lesson to you, oh would you like to buy and axe?

Actually, that is a hatchet, but "Hatchet Man" doesn't roll off the tongue as well.

Yes, so? Wont help him in any way.

He just has a small Thai chopper.

They let him stand there, Axe in hand for a photo op.1000 THB fine,

and maybe they let him keep the axe?

Not to be confused with your John Thomas

Nice of him to bring the axe/hatchet with him when police invited him in for a talk.

Fairly sure I would have ditched it before then.

What was his crime? Not brandishing the mandatory pistol?

c'mon Nattawut individual thought will get you nowhere (weren't you paying attention when those school teachers beat you about the head)

.

Neither would "chopper"

Probably got in his car and drove off after the photo op.

Really? That's fascinating. How did you find out?

No doubt they'll stop him again, with the axe, no licence - or with a forged one - and it'll be another B1,000, another pat on the wrist ...

Nothing will happen. That's why he is smiling
