It would probably take me that long with ADSL the size of it. Reduce it to 400/500 then post. Yours must have been 3000/4000. Sorry just checked.....yours was 2560

This is where my lack of skill is a matter.

Any step by step advice on how to compress/zip my pics would be appreciated.

Here's another pic.

Hey Trond,

There are two ways that come to mind with regards to making pictures smaller.

1.> Use Microsoft Paint. Under "Image" > "Stretch/Skew" you can enter in percentage values that will make the image smaller or larger. If you for instance take a picture that is 1200 x 800 and reduce it to 50% it will then be 600 x 400 and will be less than one third the original size in kilobytes. You can also make images larger using the same process. Just make sure to save the resized image with a different name if you want to keep the original... original.

2.> Use a Picture Resize Program. Most of these are widely available. I found one here that is free and has fairly good use feedback. It is about 6mbs looks like.

The second method is easier if you are resizing many photos, but the first old school method is always available and you do not have to install anything.
