Can't access Bangkok Post

Featured Replies

Minor quibble, but someone may be able to help.

I'm in UK at the moment, Bangkok Post appears for a couple of seconds then the page goes blank. I'm assuming it's an overlay of some type, The Nation has something commemorating the King's reign and I have to press enter to get to the site, so I've made the assumption based on that.

I was able to read it last week without problem, nothing changed etc. I've tried it with different browsers on both my laptop and tablet, even a newly installed browser with no adblock/flashblock/js blocker or any other addons or extensions on the tablet and on my mother in law's laptop, different operating systems/no chache or cookies etc, same result.

Any idea's? If it had been inaccessible since we arrived a couple of weeks ago I would have put it down to the great firewall (that isn't in place, honest, it was jus an idea we were playing around with) but I could get it the first few days we were here. The Nation comes up OK, the only other Thai sites I use are Lazada and a couple of computer stores which are also OK.

Edit: address line says bangkokpost.com, I've tried going to bangkokpost.com/news etc all the same, a few seconds then nothing, just a white screen with correct url in the address bar (and google didn't help at all).

Even more bizarre. Tried it on 2 Androids and 2 laptops, one Windows 7 one Windows 10, 3 different locations, one Virgin wifi and and two on mobile 4G.

(Chekout giffgaff.com, unlimited calls texts and internet for GBP20/month which is great for visitors).
