What are the chances of getting a new AC unit?

I bought a brand new AC unit for our bedroom about 6/8 weeks ago.

It's not worked properly since it was installed.
To start it i have to put a bag of ice over the air temp sensor under the air filer to get it to start and leave it there till the room goes under 22 deg. If the room is over 24 it shuts down.

faults 2 and 4

This is what LG says is the problem hence why i use the ice pack to get it to start

Fault 2 "Indoor Pipe Sensor or Outdoor Sensor Assy fault, Open or Short. Disconnect from PCB and measure resistance. Air sensor = 10 kOhm at 25C, Pipe sensor = 5 kOhm at 25C. If not replace sensor"

Fault 4 "
RAC Product = Heat Sink Sensor Error, Open/Short Cct or over 95C. Commercial Product = Condensate pump float switch risen. Check drain pan is empty, check pump is working O"

I have had 4 fidderent "ac experts" come and look at it. All the did was stare at it.

Today (about 30 mins ago) the new experts turned up....they changed something outsiode on the fan and cooling unit even though i told them what was wrong.....

They left smiling after saying "lets see what this new part does" (they changed wiring"

The whole house elctrics trip when i start it now.......

Hang on...they have just come back...more as i get it

Ok...they messed with something and it "works" but i have been told only to keep it on 22 low power and not ever use the "jet mode"

I had to bite my tongue

It seems like it is always better to forget about where you bought it, and just deal directly with the companies customer service. There are likely several million LG A/C installed in Thailand, most working fine. Wiring is one problem, and the installers are doing three+ per day...they aren't meticulous. They didn't tighten a nut on mine, but I noticed it was making unusual noises right away, and went to Samsung...low on refrigerant..and the newer systems are very high pressure...so there is zero room for error on the connections.
