Western Union Offices in Phuket

Featured Replies

I need to make a foreign payment at a Western Union office. It has to be Western Union.

I have looked at the WU website and searched Google. There are offices in Phuket but the locations shown on the map are highly improbable. Apparently, there are WU offices in tiny sois miles from any main road.

I have checked the position of every WU office shown and, using Street View on Google maps, there's no sign of the WU logo anywhere near these locations.

Before I get in my car and start fruitlessly driving around, does anyone know of any Western Union offices, preferably near Rawai?

I'd be very grateful, thanks!

Bangkok bank near Chalong Circle should be the closest for you. Why not just do a normal transfer, fee is only 400 Baht, but you do need to send to someone's bank account.

No need to go through the circle. Have banks at the Lotus mall, past Makro.

So they all have Western Union? I suggested Bangkok Bank at the circle as I know they do.

SCB in Rawai on Viset road is doing WU

I'm fairly certain that all Bangkok Bank branches have Western Union capability. Sometimes they process the paperwork at the counter, sometimes at a desk, and sometimes at the currency exchange counter.

Any Bank of Ayutthya near you? A lot of them do it.

Now, has anyone done a WU transfer?

I haven't and the only details I've been given are:

First name

Last Name

Country

City

(It's in China)

This seems a little vague for tracking???

Make sure you write the name exactly as on ID card/passport.
