They have other tricks to reduce your post count. :o

but you see, I come online, and I click "view new posts"..

I start at page 11, 12, 14 whichever is the last page (ie: the oldest new post) and by the time I get to page 1, I have to start all over again... It's really very frustrating... I just .. OKAY.... :o OKAY! I admit it... it's an addiction... (kick one addiction just to replace it with another)

now, where was that "You know you've been on Thaivisa too long when..." thread again...

just limit Kayo's responses, that would save me a great deal of reading time already.... :o

I used to read nearly every post through the "view new posts" function but I got pissed off in a similar way.

I've changed my technique now. :D:D

I read the first and sometimes second page of my most visited - farang pub, general, samui, pattaya, bkk, travel, football & b****m (think that's all of them) and don't bother with the "view new posts" function. less pressure that way. :D

Our first forum software at that time was Ikonboard. When the conversion to Invision board was done, some of the mods/admins where given new member numbers for some reason. No big deal really :D

mine never changed.....lucky for some ..eh :o

My theory about that is that it took them 127 (and more for the others) attempts to spell their user names correctly... :D:D
