Driving From Bangkok To Hua Hin

Featured Replies

Next month I'm visiting Thailand and will be hiring a car to drive from Bangkok (Wireless Rd) to Hua Hin.

Have driven many times around Chiang Mai/Rai but this is the 1st time through BKK :o.

Does anybody know of any "good" on line maps or directions which can help me (or is it so easy I don't need to bother)?

Thx

it's so easy actually. go on the express viaduct going south. cross the bridge over the praya, keep following petchaburi. then hua hin is signalled.

about 3-4 hours drive.

There are lots of good maps or whole books. Actually, you don't need them.

Go from Wireless to Rama 4 and enter on the right sise onto the express way.

You can't miss the bridge (once the longest in the Guiness book of records.

Time? It's all relative. Last time I was there in two hours on the way to Phuket and got a nice guy in brown uniform in Hua Hin waving with a red flag on a bamboo pole at me. So I waived back. Nice people down there :o
