Valsartan in Thailand

Featured Replies

Possibly one for Sheryl?,

I have been prescribed 'Valpress Tablets' for my blood pressure control..Valpress is actually 'Valsartan 160mg'.

Valpress is only available at the hospital, so not easy for me to get there every month or so.

So my question is whether there is another brand name I can buy at a pharmacy (such as Diovan).

Looking on the web there are numerous brands around the world but whether available here is another thing.

Of course I could change the medecine type, but it seems to be working well, so don't want to to that.

All help gratefully received.

I use Olmesartan known also as Olmetec 20 Mg

Even all those ...."sartans" are similar than 160 mg is really a very high doses : make sure you consult a doctor

I buy Diovan 160mg with Amlopine 5g from a pharmacy in Bangkok.. S.C. Drugs as recommended here. They sell one box of Diovan for 760 baht and one box of Amlopine 5mg for 180 baht. PM me for their contact details.
