Canging to another bittorrent might increase your speed.

Featured Replies

Most people use Utorrent or Deluge torrent clients as their way to download torrents. I didn't because I use a seedbox and then transfer to my local harddisk by FTP.

Recently I got the 3bb 100/10mbs package and thought I give it a try it try on my local torrent client. Utorrent was very slow (500+ KBs) but Deluge did a better job at 5MBs. But Deluge is very buggy and it stopped multiple times. I almost gave up and decided to continue with my current seedbox. Then I bumped into the Bitcomet client. The speeds vary between 12 and 14MBs. Now downloading a 57GB file at these speeds with a mere 40 seeders.

So if you have low speeds on Utorrent, change to another client.

Try Qbittorrent and make sure your port forwarding is properly configured.
