I take exception to your use of the word "worth". You're providing 500 grams of frozen sausage notionally worth 290 baht.

In the UK fresh Cumberland sausage is sold at Tesco in the UK for GBP 3.31/kg, equivalent to 76 baht for a 500 g pack.

You may normally "charge" almost four times a fair price, but that doesn't make your sausages "worth" that much - particularly when your raw materials will be cheaper here in Thailand and you're selling an inferior (i.e. frozen) product.

I am from the UK myself and it is true that for many products in Thailand, you pay a more for the same quality that you can get back "home".

There are many reasons for this but I won't go into them now.

I think the best place to start is if you compare the sausages currently available on the market here in Thailand because that is where you are based and have available to you.

If you buy and try them, you will see that Sloane's sausages, although at the high end of the price spectrum, are by far the best quality sausages you can buy in Thailand. Before I started Passion Delivery with my 2 co-founders nearly 2 years ago, I tried pretty much every brand of sausage available in Thailand and the reason I approached Joe Sloane's and that Passion Delivery now offer his products is because for me, it was (and still is) the best quality vs price proposition out there. You just have to look at the customer reviews to see how much people like them (see attached).

Of course the concept of value and how much something is worth to someone is subjective. At Passion Delivery, we make a huge effort to carefully select, screen and test all products available on the Passion Delivery website even though it takes a great deal of time to do this well. We offer products that represent the best quality for the price in their category and because we do this well, our customers trust us. We are not the cheapest but for sure we offer the best value vs quality for the products available.

If you love steaks and seafood, our range is without doubt the best in Thailand, starting from just 295 baht per steak. We even sell Thai Wagyu steaks at just 590 baht for 315g, an unbeatable price.
