The US Democratic National Convention: Buried hatchets and party unity

The convention reality that the Clinton media such as CNN, NBC, NY Times, and ABC will not report to you.

Well, I suspect there is strong Israel demonizing bias there. Coming from Electronic Intifada group, which is pro BDS, as it's well known that BDS is a Jew hating movement (they often hide with anti "Zionist" rhetoric but they're not fooling anyone) that denies the right of Israel to exist in any borders.

Also during Hillary's convention speech, there were such signs about Palestinian human rights visible on FOX news.

So more evidence they're lying and exaggerating about aggressive censorship.

Yes, there were disgusting Jew hating and Israel demonizing demonstrations happening on the streets. Burning of the Israeli flag, the Jewish star flag, and hateful morons screaming hateful garbage about Jewish global control conspiracy theories that could have come out of Hitler's mouth if spoken in German.

That said, in Hillary's actual speech, it was both good and predictable that Hillary mentioned unwavering support for the security of Israel. But I think she really should have mentioned what is in the democratic platform, continued support for a peaceful two state solution. That's especially important now as the party of trump has dropped that from their platform, they are officially against a two state solution now. That contrast is important to make.

It's true the Bernie forces lost their fight to add Israel demonizing language into the democratic platform.

I do have a theory about why Hillary kept her Israel comments to one short sentence. If she had talked longer on it and mention two state solution, etc. it would have given more time for there to be loud protests about that issue (people feeling sore about the platform loss, etc.), and that was a rational political decision to avoid provoking that. I felt a weird tension when she mentioned Israel, like she was expecting some really loud noises, and she just didn't want the politics of the Israel-Palestinian conflict to be a dominant theme of her big night.

I really hope Hillary Clinton will become the first female president of the United States. All the news channels around the world , except Fox News are very positive to Barack Obama's speech today . All of which is still probably not that relevant given that we have months of campaigning to look forward to, lots of opportunities for Trump to put his foot in his mouth or Clinton emails to be leaked, and of course the debates (if Trump has the balls to attend).
