Olympics?  Neither do I.  US and Thailand are not similar.  The USA is far more "in your face" with corruption and creating harm to people globlely  than Thailand could ever dream to be.  USA is #1.

Hua hin way too lax last time I'm there some woman walks off for 30 minutes leaving her plastic bag at train station. I was mortified no one seemed to care.

Concealed may not be the correct word, perhaps ignored is a better word. My point was that corruption is not limited to Thailand and some of the US politicians would give most other countries politicians a serious run for their money.
