Amazon associates, nice work ;-) Much better revenue figures than my site, but I'm novice in this field at present.

Interesting topic this one, as I'll be back in BKK in 19 days and I'll be looking for accommodation that can have True fibre optic internet. My budget is similar, 5000 to 7500 per month, I would prefer shorter than a 6 month contract. I stayed in On Nut last night and I've stayed in Ratchada before, 10000 in On Nut and 5000 in Ratchada.

So you admit working illegally in Thailand. Not a smart move. You're clearly not very smart at all if you think converting dollars to pounds is worse since Brexit. $1000 is now £761 after Brexit ($1.31=£1) but before Brexit it was only about $1000 =  £666 ($1 = £1.50). You have no understanding of maths and I take it you're giving your dollars to someone who is taking advantage of your slow brain and giving you LESS pounds for your dollars since Brexit! "There's a sucker born every minute", as P.T. Barnum said. Either that or you're just lying and not earning $3,500 a month from your "online businesses"... probably that.

The wife recently moved out of a nice block on Sukh soi 56, just near the corner. About 10 mins from On Nut BTS. Paid about 5500 a month and had aircon. Saithip Place I think it was called. She's moved to a cheaper place near Phrakanong market now. 3200 a month, but no AC. Loads of these places around.

I think the difficulty with this thread is that you are asking foreigners who don't usually choose such accommodation. The lower priced stuff, isn't usually advertised also, and unless you know someone in the area you are looking, you are unlikely to come across it, even though in my opinion, there is a lot of it about.

Best to speak to some local people in the area you want to live in rather than foreigners/ex-pats on a website that don't usually look for such things.

1.I don't want to date with gogo girls or any kind of prostitute..

2. even if i did go on a date with a gogo bar girl why would i want to impress her? surely i'd pay her fee for her services and she goes on her way.

By the way, you have just admitted to breaking the law of Thailand by working on "online businesses" inside Thailand without a valid work permit. Please just go home. Right now. You're better off in your own country.

Sounds like jealousy to me

I think you can still get a 5000baht studio in Bangkok. What I am not sure about if they will allow you to rent it without contract. Just check on Google they will definitely provide you with some results.

Best way for this is for OP to peel off 1000 baht, if he has it and short time a girl from nana hotel car park and ask her if there are any rooms in her block

I'm only willing to spend 5000 to 6000 baht per month for an apartment, looking around Huay Kwang where a couple of friends of mine live (farang). Would prefer a shorter contract than 6 months, as long as I can have True internet via fibre optic, that's fine with me, need fast internet for my gambling habit, got to earn some money somehow!

Yes it should be possible. However, you probably wont be able to find and book it online.

My advice is to go to some MRT station like Ladprao or Sutthisan then ask a motorbike driver to take you to some cheap apartments that cost around 5k. They will know and you can quickly go through several apartments.
