I read on here that friday is a bad day generally for exchanging into THB, so the opposite Q, what generally is the best day of the week for exchanging into THB and why?

Thanks

Best to look at a graph for the past year or so of the daily exchange rates. Maybe there's a day that routinely has a better rate. I pretty much doubt it though.

Avoid times when the FOREX market is closed to large dealers, weekends and Monday AM, Friday PM can also be less than optimal as a result of dealers squaring their positions.

Yup, change on a Wednesday instead of Friday on $1000 you will save B100, or if the markets are against you, you will lose B100 such a difficult decision, if we knew the answer we would all make money

How much are you changing? OP just out of interest

It was more a generic Q. As I said I recall someone saying Fri was generally a bad day tomsell USD.

Just go to FX sites to look at data, numerically or graphically.  Like below is a snapshot from XE.com for the USD-THB for the last week.  Bank/money exchanger rates will follow the FX rates.  And I'm sure you find each week to be different as world/financial/political/news/what FX traders had for lunch makes FX rates vary.

Indeed every week will be different but there is likely to be some commonality. In the example you posted for example the rate is subdued on the morning of Monday, 5 September, until such time as FOREX opens for business when it takes off, that is one aspect that will be similar every week when looking at USD/THB - my comments above were not about when is the best time to buy/sell but when are the times to be avoided and your graph supports that view.
