BANGKOK: -- Bung Kum district police have been ordered to launch a crackdown on illegal car racing on the New Kasetnawamin road which has reportedly caused a lot of nuisance to people living in the neighbourhood.

Metropolitan police commissioner Pol Lt-Gen Sanit Mahathavorn said Tuesday that he had already seen a video clip of the illegal street racing, but had to find out first whether it was actually a street racing or just a preparation for racing.

Nevertheless, he said he had ordered police at Bung Kum police station who have jurisdiction over the area of alleged racing to take stiff action against the illegal racers if illegal racing was actually held there.

put speed bumps in that will stop them

So he ordered the police station (that are the ones taking bribes to allow the racing) to investigate their own corruption. Hummmm

need to provide a place for them to race in a semi controlled environment away from innocent street users. they did this in australia with some success. some cops even got in on the racing and it was great for relations between them and the public.

" Nevertheless, he said he had ordered police at Bung Kum police station who have jurisdiction over the area of alleged racing to take stiff action against the illegal racers if illegal racing was actually held there. "

In other words, he told them to go and do their job!

He shouldn't have had to do that!

Another crack, another down.

A disjointed sin of tall order.

Show waiting substance,

abuse, time to reveal.

And on top of that they even made it public so the racing kids just move elsewhere untill they read about the crackdown in that area.
