Jw Marriott Room Choice

We are looking to go to the JW Marriott Phuket next year.

We are unsure whether to go for the seaview rooms or terrace rooms.

We have read that the view is not that great due to the trees etc from the seaview balconies.

We have been told that the terrace rooms have a larger patio area but is this private?

Has anybody stayed in either of these rooms? Any information in helping us make our final choice would be very much appreciated.
