Delicious Baked Ham in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just want to share a place where to buy a delicious fresh baked ham (and meats) in Chiang Mai :

I must share it.

The quality, service and prices are good.

Went looking for CMG one time without success.  A GPS fix would help locate.

Shinckensomething TGM brand ham at BigC is best we've found.  I will only buy from a fresh new piece and it must be pale (sow), not red (boar).

I love ham and bacon as much as the next guy....but when I see a photo of such delicious meats next to tomato sauce, I just want to cry!

Ham with apple sauce maybe but please dont adulterate it with tom sce.

Sausage King use to have a nice baked ham with their Sunday lunch buffet. Not sure if its still available as I havent been there for ages (Too much of a good thing and all that...)

Too bad they only deliver to a bus station. It is in the too hard basket for me.

The place shouldn't be in business, spent ages trying to find it, even went into a convenience store to ask if he knew where it was, he said he'd never heard of it.

Turns out it was next door!

No signage and no one there, looked through the window and all I saw were freezers, so I presume it isn't fresh as the OP made out.

GPS coordinates will be on website as of next week, thanks for the advice. We deliver to Muang Chiang Mai everyday. Bus station only applies to other points in Norther Thailand which is indicated in the "Distribution" page of website. As far location, yes we are next to the "Buddy Mart" inside KP 9. I have a hard time believing they don't know about the business next door seeing as though he is my landlord, but YMMV. In terms of hours, again, clearly indicated on website, 16:00-19:00, or you can call in advance and we will make sure someone is there. All the information including contact numbers, e-mail is on our site, just a click away. GPS coordinates and updated product information will be available soon on the site.

thanks

Tom

Next time I will take a pic and show you that I got fresh baked ham, not frozen.

The pic I put on my post was taken 1 hour after I bought the ham.

All I can say is the guy I asked was in his 30's with glasses, I asked if he knew where Chiang Mai Gourmet was he said no, I then said they sell meat and sausages he still didn't know, I asked my wife to ask him in Thai, still didn't know. If he is your landlord then he's not helping you at all.

I walked to the left and saw your price list on the window, that was the only way of knowing that you were there.
