My Wave has stock spoke wheels that are starting to look worse for ware due to the chrome

pitting and rust, so i'd like to replace them with some alloy wheels (spoke or non spoke, don't mind)

My concern is that the new wheels will be still strong for the many pot holes that they will encounter

and also prevent from getting rusty.

I know there are numerous tyre/wheel shops all around Pattaya with many choices of rims to choose from

which is why i'm not sure which ones/type to buy, anyone already tried and tested new aftermarket rims

that could recommend to me would be much appreciated.

If possible, place, make and price please.

Thanks.

Mrs TG put a set of aftermarket alloy wheels on her Wave 'bout 9-10 years ago. White, multi spoke (7?, 9?), good powdercoat, held up pretty well, original wheel brgs too. Sees a lot of pot holes, still on there now, 70k odd kms later. Paid about 2.5k Baht all those years ago, i believe they are still similarly priced now. However, she still runs tubes in them, no biggie.
