Yet another set....

Featured Replies

.....of traffic lights on Chao Fah West. Installed, but, not yet switched on.

At the juction of Soi Glumyang and Chao Fah West (right next to the PTT station). No need for this set of lights.

They'll switch it on when a VIP motorcade needs a green light to speed their journey.

Then switch it right back off.

If they do not spend their annual allowance it will be reduced next year, happens in most countries

And there will be many more sets of lights to come, as Phuket becomes an island city.

Probably some VIP living in the street who doesn't like waiting to turn right.

I wish I was a VIP as sometimes have to wait ages to turn right on to Chao Fa West from my soi. It seems to have gotten much worse lately. Not even easy to turn left & make a U turn further up.

These lights have now been switched on.

Crazy. Stops all traffic on Chao Fah road West to let two or three vehicles out of a minor soi.

Only safe way to turn right in a lot of places, on most occasions when

leaving the new tesco store on choafa west i turn left then make a

U turn when safe to do so , sometimes travelling as far as wat Chalong

Before heading back south again
