"Tom" slashes girlfriend's throat then jumps from top of building to escape justice

BANGKOK: -- Police suspect a woman killed her lesbian lover on Monday in downtown Bangkok then jumped off their apartment building.

 

Rat Burana police were called to business premises behind the 7-11 in Pracha Uthit, Soi 33. 

 

In the car park of a five story premises used as flats they found the broken body of 23 year old Warisa Yooman dressed in a black shirt and jeans, reports Daily News.

 

Discovering where she lived they went tot he second floor room and after finding it locked and getting no answer they broke it down.

 

Inside was 24 year old Sophaporn Thipratet the owner of the room.

 

She was dead with five slash wounds to the neck. The body had been wrapped in three blankets. Next to the body was a clean eight inch kitchen knife and a glass containing bathroom cleaning fluid. There were no signs of a struggle.

 

The father of Warisa named as Jetsadakorn Yooman, 51, said that his daughter worked as a delivery person while her girlfriend was employed at a Top Charoen opticians. They had known each other for 2-3 years.

 

He had seen his daughter on Monday morning and had no idea what had happened and why. He rushed to the scene when he found out his daughter had jumped to her death.

 

Police are waiting for the autopsy to see if the girl in the room consumed cleaning fluid.

 

But they suspect that the "Tom" in the relationship killed her by stabbing before taking her own life.

Soft/female partner wanted to leave the relationship, probably had a new person already.  Tom got angry/jealous, killed her, was trying to cover it up but was overtaken by the sheer immensity of what she had done.....and went for a flight.

Seriously though, this one isn't that hard to figure out based on precedent.  We may never get a follow up but I would put odds my conclusion is correct, or pretty dam_n close.

Sometimes the relationship is all wonderful and rosy.... worth investing all your emotions into (at least on one partners side).... then suddenly it's not.

There are plenty of Thai grannies out there who don't pimp their grandchildren, plenty of Thai men that don't kill their wives and plenty of women that don't pay to have their husbands murdered and plenty of Thai's that don't have lovers in the back ground.  There are plenty of people who are not  control freaks and plenty of Thai men that are not rapists as well.  However Thailand shows us that there are some that fall into those categories as we read every day on forums like this.

I guess it's because they prefer women but feel insecure without a partner with a strong personality and women with strong personalities who themselves prefer women generally want to be in control and are more likely to offer that security than women without strong personalities.
