SARABURI: -- The nation continued to mourn the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej with several provinces performing card stunts, mural painting, and other events in remembrance of His Majesty’s great benevolence to the Thai people.

In Saraburi province, 20,000 local authorities and students wearing black and white joined together to perform a  card stunt featuring a massive picture of a heart encircling the number 9.

It is a sign of the Saraburi people’s fidelity and love for His Majesty the King and at the same time, recognition of His tireless efforts to make their lives better.

The theme of the event is ‘Unity, Self-Sufficiency and Love for the Nation’ which has always been the desire of His Majesty.

In Uttaradit province, teachers, students as well alumni of the Faculty of Arts at the Utradit Rajabhat University  jointly painted a mural of His Majesty the King on a massive wooden board measuring 24 meters in length.

This a sign of love and dedication to His Majesty and a remembrance of his Royal visit to officially open the Sirikit Dam in the province in 1977.
