I think I've developed tinnitus...loosing my mind...

Anybody in Pattaya also has this?

Lots of TV members, in Pattaya and elsewhere, have it. Do a search in the Health forum, there have been many threads on it.

Thanks Sheryl, can you transfer my post there so it's not a duplicate?

Had a chuckle with the juxtaposition of thread titles in this forum:

yeah I've got it, got it after a neck massage believe it or not

how did you get yours ?

Tinnitus, have had it for years.

15 years working on race cars

25 years shooting shotgun. always wore ear protection, but harmonics do nasty things.

YeI have it in my left ear

Went to Doctor a long time ago in the UK who sent me to a consultant

Basically I had to learn to live with it as they  they could not  determine the cause of why I had it in the first place.

My "sound" is that of blood rushing around my ear and when I exercise or markedly increase my cardiovascular rate  I could actually hear, feel my pulse in my ear throbbing along with the noise.

I asked the Consultant if there were any artery around the ear that could be distributing this tinnitus  and he said it was possible.

Maybe it's  an age thing, I'm 72 and I have had it for the last ten years or so with no detriment to my health.

I still cycle 180Ks a week and play walked up golf pulling my own cart so I wouldn't worry too much but definitely get a medical opinion on your Tinnitus , mainly to make sure that it isn't a symptom of a more serious problem

A good friend of mine in Phoenix, AZ got it after doing a head stand. He was in his late 40s.

watch this, it might help you

Had it for years. Racing bikes, then cars, operating heavy equipment. Ear Protection ? Are you a ----- ? was the wisdom when I was coming up. Mine is a high pitched whistling noise in both ears. Sometimes the frequency goes up, sometimes down. Am used to it - until I read posts like this and it comes back !!!  Good luck with it - ain't easy.
