Random question I know, but does anyone know of a place where I could get a small drawer unit carcass made?

 

We already have the drawers and the unit will only be used for 6 months or so which is why 

 

1, we just need the carcass and 

 

2, it doesnt need to be fine furniture 

 

Any thoughts appreciated.

Do not believe any place would make for cheap as would have to be custom designed/measured/made to hold already made drawers - so no last minute modification to drawers to adjust for base unit being a bit off.

 

That said there are some shops that could probably do on Latphao Road (between MRT and klongs) and likely in other sections of town.  Unless you have a use for a nice unit after you depart it might be better to just buy a cheap readymade or assemble yourself unit. 

Yeah that's what weve done in the end. Drawers will go back in the cot in a few months, and in the meantime i've got a new ugly piece of furniture to look at for a while. Cheers
