Being in a somewhat difficult situation regarding my address ( as reported in a different thread ), what would be the likely consequences of just not doing the 90 day report if I was leaving LOS 8 days after the report was due? ie, one day after the reporting period expires.

Even if I was able to get away with that, would it affect me returning on the unexpired part of my non O extension?

Having said that, what would be the situation if they wouldn't accept my 90 day report because of my address status?

Thanks for any good advice.

Even leaving after the report date without doing one can result in a fine of 2000 baht for late reporting if they notice you did not do one.

No consequences for your extension. Just a fine.

You need to sort out your change of address problem or do the report at your old address. I did a post in your other topic about it.

^^ Thanks for reply.

I don't see how I can sort out my change of address, and I can't use my old address. I hope that I can just go to do the 90 day and there won't be a problem,  but I'm already getting stressed.

Any idea of what would happen if they won't accept the 90 day report with the new address?

I don't understand why you cannot sort out the address change. As I wrote in your other topic you do not always need to do a TM28 to change addresses.

If you put your old address on a TM47 form you should be able to do it at the office where you have been doing them. Many will accept mailed in reports.

If you cannot do your report you would be fined when you are able to do the next one when due.

Are you saying to put my old address on the 90 day report, even though I no longer live there? My new address is in the same area as the old one so same office.

What happens when they see a TM 30 from a different address on the computer. I don't want to be telling lies, which could get even worse for me.

Since you are not changing to a different office it should not be a problem to use your new address on the TM47 form when you do your report. You would just need proof of your new address.

Thank you. The proof will not be difficult to get.

That makes me feel more confident, thanks again.

If you plan to leave one day after the 7 day grace period, simply mail the 90 day report using the old address via ems before time expires. That way, when you leave you can say it has been sent in but you've not yet received the new 90 day due date. Your EMS receipt clipped to a copy of your 90 day report w/due date will be your proof.
