I have a relatively new Macbook pro. At work Ive been using a cheap printer (HP laserjet P102) and after inserting the cord into the USB port an annoying message is displayed:  ''the disk you inserted has not been recognised'. Try again or ignore button.

How do I resolve this issue? Sometimes it happens and sometimes not. I think it occurs when someone uses my printer (where its not a mac).

In the past I have to reboot and unplug the printer 3 times to get the dam thing to print.

please help

Does anybody have a solution for this. The above problem started when I was inserting the printer cable into the usb port on my MBPro. Now when I insert a memory thumb drive its saying that I have to format it.

Its really annoying and I wonder if its a bug or issue with my MBP
