Excellent news!

why is that excellent news? There is an overcapacity already now, or why do you think Malaysia Airlines have to sell return tickets HKT - KUL - HKT for 2.390 Baht, as they do in their promotion at the moment? That already includes all Taxes, 30 KG free luggage and a meal. Nobody needs even more flights on that route, it creates losses for ALL airlines

I wonder how many people will buy one of the 12 business class seats for a flight of 1 hr 25 mins?

Lion Air, Indonesia owns 49%.

For this price what they offer sure not many. I'm flying always business with MAS to KUL. Fast track at immigration, lounge and a relaxed flight for only 5-8k baht RT is a pleasure.

It is excellent news because it brings more competition on a sector that I fly regularly, which means greater choice, better prices and a LCC choice for either terminal at KUL.

Why are you taking this announcement so hard anyway? Do you own one of the other airlines?
