Although the final tally is not completed yet (some districts in California are still counting and reporting) HRC is ahead in the popular vote by over 1 Million!!! Although I do say that President Elect Trump was democratically elected under a system, which again is proven to be undemocratic, he will be the President of ALL Americans on January 20th and all just have to accept it. However, it is, or should be, obvious to all that the EC system is undemocratic and has to be changed. Or is it democratic that over a million votes have to be ignored????

I understand but given this is the way that the Yanks have voted for a number of decades and given that it has been accepted in the past why shouldn't it not be accepted now.  Not knowing how the system works, other than what has been reported by the MSM, all of whom said it was democratic prior to the final election, yet now the person who they expected to win, didn't, they are crying fowl because she got the popular vote.  Means nothing so give him a chance, he hasn't even been sworn in yet and the left are trying their darndest to crucify him regardless of what he does.  Everyone should move on and then comeback in 4 years if their hatred lasts that long and if we are all still around the banter can continue. :wai:

Nope, Obama was given the benefit of a doubt. Everyone said give the guy a chance because if you didn't you were automatically a racist. But Trump, well that is a horse of a different color.

A different breed of cat that is for sure. From the color of his hair I would say lion in a bottle.

The funny thing is, just like most the others that are protesting/rioting in the streets, he probably didnt even vote.

Unfortunate but not a disqualification to exercise one's Constitutional rights.

To reiterate btw, there are always violent people who attach themselves to public demonstrations of protest.

Critics of First Amendment rights need to distinguish between the mass of politically motivated demonstrating protesters and the violent types. A failure to do so means the critic is in error or he has an agenda.

The point is that the right person was NOT elected because he believes in pseudo-science rather than real science on the subject of climate change. I think the "right" person to be President is the one who will solve real problems with real solutions, not just send out angry tweets and pander to every right-wing Breitbart-sponsored conspiracy theory out there.

People have differing opinions on climate change, why is you view right and those who disagree, wrong.  The scam is the pseudo-science and is only a redistribution of wealth.  Can you tell me how man can change the climate?  The only way this happens is through mother nature.

Can you tell me where the sea levels have risen and a country or island has been submerged,  as was predicted a number of years ago.  Now that it hasn't happened those who a being paid to tell the governments what they want to hear, are telling us it will be in another 50 years, when most of us won't be around to tell them how wrong they were.:wai:

And of course the MSM have *nothing* to do with conflating the situation and spinning it whichever way their boss tells them to, brave new world of press=100% propaganda. This election completely finished what Brexit started, both involved a shameful, hugely expensive, failed mind manipulation by an institution that is SUPPOSED to stand for the truth. But do you see the beauty of this? In dishonestly pushing for a 'kinder' world (only applicable if you're a foreigner, bad luck if you're a white person in your own country!) They unleashed their worst nightmare. Maybe next time, they will dispense charity to their own first, and not lie through their <deleted> to get Champagne socialists agendas on the dance card.

So you don't think Trump is a corrupt, arrogant liar?

I'm not a US citizen, so I really don't care what he does to the US. As long as he doesn't spread the inevitable damage of his ignorance to the rest of the world I am completely fine with a Trump presidency. I might start studying Russian or Mandarin because the era of the US as the dominant world power will be over once Trump has his way with it for four years.

Accurate and correct.

Learn 'em both.

Lot of interaction between the two. I spent time in CCP China where I met Party officials who were fluent in Russian, and met lots of Russians on trade trips who were fluent in Mandarin. Good thing I have a lot of friends there already who welcome Americans who can help CCP China develop.

It's never too late to catch up on it learning Russian and Mandarin (Cantonese in the South). Couldn't be too soon either cause might have only two or three years.

Sorry its not finished the Italians come up to bat on December 4th and other European countries go to the polls next year. The big boys and their government allies really pushed the little guy to far. They have bled him dry taken away his job hope dreams of a better life. He is now cornered. Beware of cornered living creatures.

Indeed.

Final tally expected to be available in another ten dayze or so is reckoned to be plus 2 million Popular Votes ahead of Trump, or approaching it. That would be a Popular Vote winning margin of at least 1.5%. Probably a bit greater.

Trump has no popular mandate. The popular mandate is in the streets and that is where it will remain. Voting with one's feet.

Is it fair that if the EC were gone that 11 out of 50 states could decide a presidential election? Do you think candidates would even visit the other 39 states or allocate any funding in the budget for those states?

And do explain exactly how many 'fiddlesticks' the near 50% of Americans who didn't even bother to vote at all, give about these unwashed malcontents and their popular vote mandate?

Democracy is broken anyway.

I am playing devils advocate here because I am disgusted by the mendacity and 'champagne socialism' of multi-millionaires like Clinton, and the other political elites, who have lied and lied and lied, as my generation, on the brink of retirement, were gutted by the GFC, while Wall Street cleaned up. And nobody even went to jail for that billion dollar global fraud.

They can all kiss my fed up rear end.

There's never been anyone like Bannon in such a position of influence in American history. He's a new breed of frog.

Not to mention the president elect himself ... that bizarre man baby with no experience. Unprecedented.

Hello to another angry winner.

Furious and raging actually.

It is vacuous to cite that voter participation in the general election was well below 100%. It always ranges between 50% to 60% percent so this election is of no significant difference either way in this respect.

Regardless of voter participation, Trump won the Electoral College Vote and Hillary Clinton is winning the Popular Vote with the PV final tally expected in about ten dayze. Her PV winning margin is reckoned to be by about 2 million votes. Currently the HRC lead is more than 1 million Popular Votes and counting several million more absentee and provisional votes, primarily from California, Washington state, New York state.

Trump has no Popular Vote mandate. The Clinton Popular Vote mandate is in the streets across America. Vote with our feet.

You better hope and pray that there is a next election cycle. The way this thing is shaping up its no longer a "King for a day term or decade"The Republicans do not want power for a term they want eternal power. The news media is shaping elections common sense has left the room. Fox news is no longer a news station just a Republican SB machine. I think each time a Faux news "contributor" is finished  spouting their nonsense they head for the cashiers cage to pick up their contributor stipend.

How do you extrapolate TORTURE, or even a nod to Trump from my polemic?

You fit right in to the obfusticating media circus, you have:

1. Blatantly avoided coherently addressing the point(s) I made.

2. Tried to be both clever and condescending, but since you're not very skilled at either, it's unfair to hold you to that allegation.

3. Gone way out left field to the point where your response is practically gibberish.

4. Not been paying attention. Trump has had PLENTY to say since last week, no need for me to scoop anything, and again, what has that got to do with the original allegations that the media have abandoned any pretense at balance?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The pendulum swings and it swings back just as hard.

The destruction of the US economy by Bush had a global impact.  There is also the small matter of nuclear weapons. Ergo pretty much everyone in the world very much has a 'dog in this fight'.

So frankly, I don't give a toss what you think either.
