Local consulate for Non-B with work permit

Due to a foul up by my employer sorting my extension I may need to go and get a new Non-B.

 

I already have a work permit valid until July 2017.

 

Where is best? Do I need any additional company paperwork on top of my valid work permit?

 

Covering bases, off to immigration again today (spent all day there yesterday getting refused) to hopefully sort the issues and avoid having to leave the country.

Vientiane and Penang are the best places to get a single entry non-b visa.
