The Department of Consular Affairs will launch the new office on Dec. 9 and it will be inside the MRT station, making it even more convenient.

Previously, when Thais wanted to get a passport, they had to trek out to east Bangkok’s Srinakarin Road passport office or to the equally annoying massive government complex on Chaeng Wattana Road.

In an MRT station? Sensible. No need for cars. Someone has a brain

They should look at saving costs by reducing the number of pages in a Thai passport or offering a slimmer version.

Who decided that all Thais need 64 pages in a passport valid for only 5 years...

Who supplies these padded out passports...

What about the "one stop shop" at Phrom Phong Skytrain station?
