This thread suggested by member phuketrichard is for images taken in

one of Thailands immediate neighboring countries of which there are four.

They are Burma ( Myanmar ), Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia.

When posting, please state which country it has been taken in.

Thanks Puketrichard, for me Myanmar is one of the most unique places to travel to. I have been there many times and in many places. I will however not compete with your pictures and therefore post pictures of other neighboring countries.

Have fun !

I also love going there, so different from the rest of SE Asia. I have been for the far north ( Khamti,  Myyitkyina) as far sough as u can get ( kwathoung)  traveled by trains, boats, planes,bus's, motorcycles & pony carts

Long-tail ferry arrives at the bank of Mekong opposite Luang Prabang, Laos. Passengers sort out their belongings and pay the driver in the blue shirt (3000 Kip = 15 Baht).

before having a look at the photos underneath , I wanted to suggest : maybe all ASEAN countries ;

but I don't need , we have already photos from Vietnam, Philipinnes ;

so ..

Myanmar – Sittwe:  this is the capital of Rakhine State located next to the Gulf of Bengal. This is the place where in 2007 protest marches were held, known as the Saffron revolution and in 2012 mobs set fire to Rohingya homes. This area is many times a no-go area for tourists but one way or the other I managed to enter and made a boat trip from Sittwe to M’Rauk-U. Unforgettable.

First I will show some pictures of Sittwe.  Let me know if I post too many pictures.
