Best route

Featured Replies

Can someone advise the best route to get to Samut Prakan from sukhumvit soi 11 and advise how long it will take about midday tomorrow?

It's the DHL office I'll be going to

Thanks

Not sure which DHL location you are going to in SP as there are loads of them. However whenever i am going anywhere from Central BKK in a vehicle which involves Thepperak rd i would leave 90 mins. This would be on a normal day. Being its at midday on a Friday, just after pay day, it may be mayhem.

As always with Bangkok, the traffic can go from the normal grid lock to reletively clear for no apparent reason, however when dealing with Thepperak always prepare for the worst.

You could try going on the BTS as far as the line will take you and grabbing a cab from there, but no idea how frequet the cabs would be, they might try to avoid the area as well!

I'm going to DHL Survanbhumi service centre (ZVB)

2/31-34 Moo 1, Bang Na Trat road,

Tambon Bang Chalong, Amphoe Bang Phli,

Samut Prakan 10540.

It appears to be just off the main express way, it's really take 90 minutes each way from Sukhumvit road?

Thanks for the heads up.

not sure if you are dropping off/picking up something large.  i'd take the BTS to udom suk station and get a taxi there.  print something out to show driver where you are going.  go back the same way.  traffic can be bad.  i picked up some stuff at ikea in bang na using the udom suk stop then taxi.  had to taxi back with all the stuff and it took me 1.5 hrs back to sukhumvit soi 22.  this was around noon.

I've asked DHL to send to their branch at RCA - crisis diverted!
