Night Golf

Featured Replies

Played at Windmill the other night http://www.summitwindmillgolfclub.com/ and I have to say very enjoyable, Tee off was at 4pm, managed to get the first 9 in daylight and then the lights came on for the second nine.

The lights are wll positioned and on some of the Tees you cant play off the whites as they are in darkness so you play off the yellows, also depth perception is a bit tricky and sometimes you are sure you have gone into a bunker, only to realise it wasnt a bunker but just a shadow!

But overall very enjoyable, we played on Public Holiday so 1500 baht , but I understand it goes down to 1000 baht on weekdays, well worth it and far better than going to the range after work.

Same experience at Muang Ake Vista vis a vis the night golf. Playing under lights is a freaky experience, but quite fun. I recommend it to anyone for something a bit different.

There for a while I played there weekly at night. It was always fun until that inevitable shank that landed in the shadows and rough. Next time I should bring a flashlight :o

I remember years ago you could get some sory of "Glow in the Dark" ball. Maybe that would help for the odd shank.
