Reasonably priced tour of Phang Nga Bay

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was wondering if you know of any reasonably priced tour of Phang Nga Bay?

I've so far seen prices around the 3000 Baht range.

I've seen lot's of people saying on forums and trip-advisor that you can have tours for about 1500 but looking online I didn't find this price yet...

Any ideas?

I appreciate your help in advance!

Any travel agent can help you with that.

Yes, you need to walk into a shop or booth to negotiate the best deals. Online prices tend to be the high  price. No chance to negotiate. No need to book ahaed, walk in one day, go on tour next day. Even an afternoon tour can be booked that morning.

Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the number of Chinese tourists everywhere on these cheaper tours. You can avoid them by taking a John Gray trip or another of the more exclusive options but they are twice the price.

But if it's a cheaper option you want LIK's advice is correct. Around 1700 baht including National Park admission fee.

You are correct, it's a jam packed horror show on some of these small island hot spots. Personally I would arrange a private long tail and make my own tour for a small group of friends. Not a economic for a single traveller. John Gray would also be excellent, but as you say a more exclusive  (expensive) option.
