my partner wants to come initially to ireland for a month or two,   what is best easiest way please,  i  have dual citizen and passports of both Uk and irish.

 

so can use any passport whichever is easiest.  what do we both require.

Use your English one, you have the freedom of movement, your partner (if you can prove a long term relationship) could possibly apply using your Freedom of Movement,, meaning no cost and faster turn around times.

 

But am not sure how long and how to prove the existing partnership....

      we have a load of old photos from 4 yrs ago , most recently this year we have line messages, email, facebook messages etc.   2 airline tickets bought together to travel this year.   so we dont have much evidence an i hear the embassy do not accept pictures ?

For a spouse of an EU citizen it is easy and free. For a non spouse it is the same as for anyone, probably not so easy.

 

For most of the embassy's your long term partnership in Thailand is irrelevant as it has no legal backing here. A long term partnership in an EU state would be different
