I saw an older Ranger (PX1) the other week that was sporting a set of new Ranger (PX2) rims; looked smart. I guess he knew someone who had bought the new Ranger and went for a set of fancier after-market rims. I have seen some selections of OEM rims at a few roadside tire shops so I guess they are taken as part 'trade-in' on the cost of the new, after-market rims? Since I reckon at least 50% of new car buyers change up their rims as soon as possible, there must be a fairly huge inventory of OEM rims before they go off to the recycler? Anyone know off hand of any shops that appear to specialize in this? I am after a set of new Everest rims to 'upgrade' my old PX1 when my original tires are due for changing.
