Airsoft BB gun stores in BKK

I've read several threads on this subject - then did some serious foot-slogging to check things out.

Best place by far - IMHO - is in MEGA PLAZA Wangburapa on the north corner of Yaowarat Road and Chakphet Road intersection in Chinatown. Easiest way to get there is to take the MRT to Hua Lamphong then walk about 20 minutes (or grab a Tuk-Tuk, motorcycle, taxi, etc).  There are several stores selling Airsoft stuff, in amongst dozens of specialist kid's toy shops. There is a McDonalds on the ground floor.

BIgGun at A346 on 3rd Floor is excellent, the staff can speak a little English and they will order for you if not in stock.

BB Gun Smith at A280 on 2nd floor is a repair shop with a lot of spare parts and the owner seems to be quite experienced - doesn't speak English, but take you broken gun there and I'm sure that he will figure it out.

Nearby there is an arcade known as Klong Thom Corner on Charoen Krung Road opposite Charoen Krung 15 Alley. There are several market stalls and three or four good shops. There is a specialist optics shop with the best selection of scope sights, red dots, lasers, etc., that I've seen. Also nearby is the Old Siam Plaza on Burapha Road which is the centre of the "real gun" district. Lots of interesting shop windows to look at, but they don't really appreciate foreigners and generally don't stock airgun or BB stuff. Although there are several street stalls with gun optics on offer. I walked all around the original Klong Thom centre, but did not find any stalls selling gun stuff. It is a serious PITA to walk around that market, very cramped and difficult to remember which alleys you've already checked - forget it! There are several street stalls along Yaowarat Road offering very cheap Airsoft BB guns, but mostly just rubbish, IMHO.

Seacon Square on Srinakharin Road has an area called Klong Thom  at the north end under the cinema. There are several stalls, best one is right at the entrance of that area (immediately above the Dairy Queen). If you are driving, get into the underground car park and try to park in zones 21 or 22 towards the north end. Take the escalator up two floors into the mall then another two floors up past the DQ. Good selection of stuff, but probably a little more expensive than ChinaTown.

On the West side of Vibhavardi Rangsit Road inside an Army facility is the First Airsoft Shop (with a gaming range next door). There is an entrance with armed guards about 250m north of the Veterans General Hospital. Just drive in and then turn right, the shop is on the right next to a soccer goods store. Good selection, friendly service and a little English spoken. Reasonable prices.

They sell bb-guns around the klong tom market in the alleys but i have no idea if they're any good. Also i've seen cars selling them from out of the trunk.

I want to buy a cheap simple one which i can install on a rc car/robot. What should i buy for that? Just a cheap one or are there special models for that? There are rc-tanks for sale who can shoot bb-pellets, i want something like that but build it myself.

Last weeks was good weather to discover chinatown, soon it'll be far too hot to go there. I like it though that the sidewalks are free from vendors now, the police works hard for that. But almost nobody in chinatown speaks english, i prefer to buy it online.

Today i had a snake in the garden, a cheapo airsoft gun would be nice to have. If i want a cheap one for that which one brand or model should i buy? I have never shot with any of them, only know real air-rifles which are illegal here.

A lot of the AirSoft places in Chinatown are the vendors from the Saphan Lek market re-establishing themselves since they tore down that deathtrap.  I recall traipsing through the Mega Plaza while Saphan Lek was still operating and there was virtually nothing (except some fabrics) going on above the first floor.  Same with Khlong Thom Corner.  Good to see the vendors have found a place.  Sounds like it's time to explore some more as things are changing so quickly.

On one hand, I miss the chaos of the Saphan Lek market.  But had there been a fire, it could have killed hundreds the way that place was laid out.

Khlong Thom Market itself has very little in the way of AirSoft vendors- you didn't miss much.  I always try to get in and out of there by 10:00 or 11:00 before it gets jam packed and too hot.  A lot like Chatuchuk in that regard.

I first visited Thailand in 2005 and the stalls in Seacon Square were the first ones I found. The largest shop is still operating, a smaller stall (I think it was called Blue Navy) is now closed and there's an open stall near the escalators that's very good. To give a frank overview of the products on offer, the models are mostly Chinese or Chinese clones of Japanese brands. For example CYMA is a Chinese copy of Tokyo Marui. There is also an issue with fake goods - the gas on sale is branded as Tokyo Marui but the label is poorly printed and it's clearly counterfeit. No idea what the actual gas inside is. Back in 2007 I ordered a Tokyo Marui G17 gas blow back just by showing the vendor a copy of the Marui catalog. They didn't have any in stock and had to order. My guess would be that they buy products from wholesalers in Chinatown or another location in downtown Bangkok, so I agree with the OP that the prices are probably a little higher in Seacon than in downtown BK.

At Seacon there is only one store now (an open stall) quite near the escalators. They do not have a large selection but they do repairs and are friendly. I want to buy a new rifle as the one I have is now beyond repair and needs slinging out. Any suggestions in the Seacon-Samrong area?

How much does a good bb gun cost these days? Just a simple model.

The ones I saw at Deacon were 4.5 to 6.5k (sniper rifles) depending on the model and accessories included. All from China. I did not look at hand guns.

The pigeons and I are having a war. And they are winning. I live in a rice farming community that is plagued with these flying rats. The farmers build scarecrows and shoot fireworks in order to chase the birds from their rice fields, but I think they are losing too. I am planning on upgrading my arsenal from a slingshot to a BB gun.

These BB rifles are no longer being sold in Phitsanulok, so Bangkok here I come. Any updates on any shops that sell BB guns? Hopefully around the Sukhumvit area as I don't really want to go to Chinatown.

Fortune town has one shop, not far from Sukhumvit, but of course very limited choice. Other than that as mentioned before, the place in China town which has the biggest amount of BB gun stuff. Seacon Square also has a few shops and you should find something that you like, but also not near Sukhumvit.

In case somebody wants to buy a used one in Udon Thani, i have one for sale ;)
