Desktop computer monitor & speakers

Featured Replies

I have a Dell 24-inch wide screen monitor, purchased 10+ years ago, and wish to replace.  If you have recently shopped or purchased a similar-size monitor from a local store, please share your experience.  I'm ready to buy the best quality monitor available, cash and carry.

Likewise, I am also looking for a new speaker system for my desktop computer.  High quality system for listening to music is not necessary.

Appreciate any advice you may offer.

Take a look at invadeit.com , they have a wide range of monitors on offer,

while most IT shops do not have a very wide selection, so you could either buy

from them, and they will deliver to you,or you could browse and select the

one you want, and then go to an IT shop and see if they can order for you.

As always.... 'Goodspeed Computers' in Computer Plaza. A nice selection of monitors of all sizes and various brands, all at competitive prices.

I find generally for electronic items lazada beats on price.. You need to know what you want and research whats on offer first really tho.

Secondly the 'best quality monitor available' is in the 40k - 60k THB range..

ive found the Thai brnd Aconatic to be quite good for computer speakers. Initially I had  a Creative Labs 2.1 set and thought they were quite ok for about 800 baht.  Then I spotted the Aconatic  model AN-SP133 on sale in Makro.  A friend of mine bought a set (Also 2.1) and I must say the sound blew my Creative set away.

The speakers main subwoofer box also has slots for usb thumbdrives and SD Cards.  Plus its also bluetooth. The main volume is on  the front of the subwoofer but also has individual controls for bass and treble on the side.

Makro had them on sale for about 1000 baht but I think they are around 1700 on Lazada.  Im sure  a store in Pantip will likely have this set cheaper than Lazada.

Microlab speakers are the best value for money, period. And great sound. Used them for the past 11 years here.
