Shop opp. Immigration, any good for passport photos?

Featured Replies

Will need to apply for a new passport soon, does the shop next to Jomtien immigration do acceptable passport photos. I know they are accepted for visa purpose, but are they of passport quality?

UK passport?

I got photos for my UK passport renewal done at the Kodak shop on Jomtien Beach Road near the corner of Soi 5, where they cost less anyway. I just had to point out to them that I needed whatever colour background was required by the UK passport office. Off-white is it? I cant remember. Anyway, the ones I had done there were fine. Photocopies also cheaper there.

Soi Nernplubwan, 500 m east of railroad tracks, Kodak shop on north side, opposite the PT gas station.

I know it. Thanks.

well, I've seen them taking pics for a visa or any other immigration document:

they use a smart phone and a wireless printer to print them.

I guess those pics are not suitable for a passport.

The only one I know, and always have used for any official pass photo, is the Kodak shop opposite KEHA condo along Thepprasit Road.

Also easy to park there, the one near Soi 6 can often be more difficult.
