Off the back of "had it with farangitized food" post thought I'd find out what people are eating day to day.

Breakfast was pad krapow phla muk, kow kai dow (mai suk) with nam plah brio.

Wifey nailed the pad krapow.

And a beer to wash it down?

BREAKFAST:
Oatmeal with diced apples, peanuts, cinnamon and honey.

LUNCH:
Vietnamese nam-neung with rice paper, and lots of veggies and herbs to wrap it with.

DINNER: Homemade sukki made up of 10+ veggies and local fish.

So healthy that I had no guilt eating my two Butterfinger chocolate bars!

Beef, chicken, turkey?

Tried those sliders. Not my thing I guess. One patty sliced into quarters and put into tiny buns with a little BBQ sauce, 1 inch square of cheese, and a tomato larger than the bun. Oh well, I will go back to just having the salad bar, that's why I go anyway.

substitute goat fer lamb...then you'll be cookin'...

Just got the cooker out of the house and plumbed-in the outside kitchen.

Asked wifey if we were having roast dinner?

No, it's to slow-cook the goat. She's into her Indian curries at the mo, so should be good.

Definitely lamb next tho'

I'd kill for a rare ribeye and the trimmings. Haven't had that for over a year. Like the man said, I must get out more.

Asking what people eat, and, people actually answering. Get a life.

And some with photos, just like Thai women.

Brilliant!

Australian Beef Ribeye

Have had mixed results with these. Bought one a couple of weeks ago that was fantastic. Went back and bought four more. Those 4 were not worth the price premium compared to locally sourced rib eye.

I suppose I brought up the topic as I've got stuck in a routine foodwise.

Breakfast is the main meal of the day. Egg, rice, stir fry or curry.

Lunch is fruit and dinner is a snack of nuts and beans and a small portion of rice and curry of some kind or noodle soup.

Getting the veg patch going for salad stuff but wifey doesn't eat it.
