Beer prices was the same today. Singha 60,-, Klosters 60,-. but a Coke costs only 5 Baht in this time.

And it was easy to walk over the streets.

I used to drink Singha at 35 baht a bottle in the beer bars in Soi Diamond.

Ghosting, smearing viacom tubes with the equivalent of 240k pixels.  As Pattaya got worse, at least the video technology got better.

Yes it was 35 Baht for a Singha at the Carousel Bar in Soi Diamond. I used to drink in the Best Friend bar or Tim's bar on beach road and it was cheaper than Soi Diamond but I cant remember by how much.

Not much of a bar scene in Sattahip apart from Thai bars and Karaoke bars but a few bars to go to in Bang Saray.

dont recall that, I used pay 25-35B for a beer. 

Thanks a lot for taking the time to post the ealier days of Pattaya greater area.

No going back, it's Bangkok by the sea now. A pity.

I find it interesting to look after names in Pattaya that have survived.

Often hard to recognize locations. So much changed.

On my first 2 weeks trip I don't come out from the pattaya beach, walking street and marine disco. Nonstop party!!! Was a great time!!

After I got the Thailand Virus!!!
