Mole Removal Clinic Needed

Can anyone recommend a decent clinic in Bangkok where one can get moles removed at a reasonable price? Maybe a clinic with real medical doctor specializing in dermatology?

I just went yesterday to "The Klinique" at Central Rama 3 for mole removal. They had one price of 4,000 Baht (normally 5,000 Baht) for laser removal of any number of moles (or dark areas) on the face and neck. I had two rather large moles and one smaller one that I wanted to be removed from my face and neck. I consulted with the doctor first and then they applied a skin numbing cream to my face and neck. After about 1 hour, I went to the operating room where the doctor removed the three moles by laser I initially ask to do. Then the doctor asked if I wanted any others removed and handed me a mirror. I picked two more spots that didn't really bother me but I figured since I was there why not. The smaller moles didn't hurt at all. The larger one on my cheek hurt a little bit when he applied the laser. The large one on my neck really hurt during the procedure so he did a local numbing injection, waited a few minutes and then continued with the laser removal with no pain.

They told me to apply anti-bacterial cream and bandage the areas for 7 days and then apply a scar removal cream after that for a few days. Today (one day after surgery), the two large mole areas have a dull pain and itch slightly. The other three smaller areas have no discomfort.

From the clinic website, they have a number of branches all around Bangkok in most major malls. The staff was friendly and attentive. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and was supposed to be a license dermatologist. The only negative is that they kept trying to up-sell there other beauty procedures while I was there. I would recommend them for cleanliness, service and location.

Could you post or PM the doctor's name? Was it all same day service without an appointment? - just walk-in  and walk-out 2 hours later?

The price quoted was for removal of moles on face and neck - so that was not for all moles, like on one's arm, chest or back?

I didn't note down the doctor's name, sorry. It was same day service (in-out in about 2 hours). I went into several clinics both inside the mall and around where I live. I choose The Klinique for reasons of price, friendliness/professionalism of staff and overall look of the place. They also schedule appointments as well. The branch I went to had one representative that spoke fairly decent English so that was a plus as well since my Thai tends to fall apart during technical/medical discussions.

I only needed removal of moles on face and neck but I believe that is what the 4,000 Baht covered. I didn't inquire about other areas. I forgot to mention they also have a 1 month followup free of charge. Though I have a feeling the 1 month followup will be more about selling their other products as they are a bit pushy in that respect.

My wife asked me why I didn't go to the nearby hospital. I did go there about 1 year ago asking if a particular mole on my back was cancerous and the doctor at the hospital was a bit abrupt, rude and dismissive about my concern. So I decided not to go back there. I find the most Thai doctors at hospitals are little bit too full of themselves in general but the ones at clinics are far more friendly.

Thanks for the info. I saw that "The Klinique" has many locations, one in Pattaya, where I live. I went to visit them at Central Festival mall, showed them 4 small moles they quoted 5,000b. Then I went into an exam room to show them the larger mole - they said they can't handle it - recommended I go to a hospital.  I guess different locations charge different rates.
