Construction for Orange Line contracts signed

BANGKOK: -- CKST, a joint venture between Chor Karn Chang and Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Plc have signed three contracts with Metropolitan Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand to implement the Orange Line electric train project.

 

The three contracts which are worth 46.9 billion baht are: the underground construction of the route section from the National Cultural Centre to Ramkhamhaeng 12 estimated to cost 20.6 billion baht; the underground construction of the section from Ramkhamhaeng 12 to Hua Mark which id estimated to cost 21.5 billion baht and the construction of the maintenance depot and parking lot estimated to cost 4.8 billion baht.
